The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) launched National Gardening Week to raise awareness of gardening and horticulture, and to encourage more people to take part in the healthy and productive outdoor activity of gardening.
This year the garden week is scheduled between April 27th and May 5th. Old Nectar joins the RHS by opening its doors to the public for a freebie visit.
We hope you will visit during this week, because autumn is now definitely in the air and rapidly becoming visible in the trees and shrubs. You can see it, you can smell it and you can also hear it - the rustling of the falling leaves!
Bring a picnic if you wish and enjoy a quiet break at a hidden spot of your own choice; we have armies of garden benches but you may prefer a picnic rug on the grass.
