Nothing pairs with a hot summer day quite like a tart and refreshing Rosemary Gin Grapefruit Cocktail.
Here’s how to make your new signature drink this season.
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large sprigs rosemary
- 60ml gin
- 90ml ruby red grapefruit juice
- 30ml rosemary simple syrup
Method (Makes 2 drinks)
For the rosemary simple syrup:
Combine the simple syrup ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Heat to a boil, allow to simmer until the sugar has dissolved, about a minute or two.
Remove pan from heat.
Allow mixture to cool completely.
Discard the rosemary stems before serving.
Combine cocktail ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously until everything is combined. Strain into ice-filled glasses.
Garnish with grapefruit wedges and rosemary springs if desired.
