Butan Pine Overview

This species is a large evergreen tree that grows a wide crown and retains lower branches provided it has enough space. Can grow to over 12m high and spread over 8m wide in optimal conditions. Leaves are reduced to blue-grey, needle-like structures and these hang from stems. Flowers are non-showy and orange, arranged in clusters. Cones measure around 25cm and these are shaped like bananas.
