Rock's Tree Peony Overview
Paeonia rockii is a deciduous shrub species in the Paeoniaceae family. It has a lax habit and typically grows to around 2m tall and wide. Foliage is dark green, oppositely arranged and divided attractively. Flowers are semi-double with white-pink petals, these are marked with a purple blotch in the centre of each petal at the base. They also have many yellow stamens in the centre of their blooms. Flowering occurs from late spring through to early summertime.
