Curled Plantain Lily Overview
Hosta crispula is a clump-forming perennial that has variegated leaves in beautiful green and cream-white shades. Funnel-like flowers grow on tall stems and are a pale lavender shade.
How to propagate Curled Plantain Lily
Divide clumps every 4 or 5 years in late summer or early spring. Ensure each section has 1 to 3 good buds and trim away damaged roots. Replant at their original depth in the ground with the shoots just poking through the soil. Water and apply a granular feed.
Collect seeds in autumn from dry seed heads, sow in Spring and place in a cold frame.
