Commonly known as Persian violet, this species is an herbaceous biennial plant with oval, dark green foliage. Often grown as an annual species, this plant produces small, scented purple blooms with contrasting bright yellow centres. Well suited to container growing, this species prefers bright and indirect light for best results.
