Mosquito Grass Overview

Bouteloua gracilis is a deciduous, rhizomatous grass species commonly called blue grama grass, blue grama or mosquito grass. They are grown for their unusual inflorescences which are considered ornamental and their general appearance, which fits well in a mixed or herbaceous border or on their own as ornamental plants.
