Holly Ferns Overview

Arachniodes is a genus containing around 68 rhizomatous fern species, commonly called Holly Ferns. They are typically grown for their attractive divided foliage, which is leathery in appearance and scaly at the base. This genus has a rather confused history, with many names published from the 1960’s onwards, for what are now known to be the same species.
