Faucaria is a genus containing around 8 evergreen, succulent perennial species in the Aizoaceae family. These plants originate from the Cape Provinces of South Africa, they are small and grow with a clumping habit. They produce triangular, green leaves with prominent teeth along the edges, leaves may have a worty, bumpy texture. Flowers are daisy-like, coloured yellow, white or pink and they tend to appear from summer-autumn.
