A genus of Summer-flowering evergreen and herbaceous perennial succulent plants in the family Talinaceae. They are native to tropical regions of Africa, Madagascar and the Americas and are popular as cultivated plants in rock gardens, alpine houses, troughs and containers and are commonly known as fame flowers.
