Dolichandra unguis-cati is also known as cat's claw creeper. It is an invasive evergreen climber, capable of growing high into trees or covering shrubs. This species invades forest margins, woodlands, plantations, roadsides and urban open spaces, naturally found in tropical dry forest areas. It is invasive in many countries, having first been introduced in many parts of the world as an ornamental vine. Flowers are bright yellow, tubular to trumpet-shaped, with 5 spreading, rounded petals.
