Linarias are an annual herb grown for their colourful flowers, that resemble snapdragons. The flower is often purple in color with white near the throat, but flowers of many different colors are bred for the garden. Dwarf cultivars are also available.
Flowers can be cut and use for the vase.
Sow seed in situ in spring time, they self-seed well after that.

Can grow in containers, place in sunny position and provide well draining, sandy potting medium.
