Penny gum, Silver dollar tree, Argyle apple (Eng.)
Florist gum is planted in gardens as a contrast plant with its ash-grey foliage. It is cultivated commercially by the cut flower industry as foliage filler in floristry. It can grow to be a huge tree, but is usuall kept at hedge height. Allowing the tree to grow for several years uncut, will result in the adult lanceolate leaves replacing the more popular round leaves!
