'Tommy' is the white form and a shade-loving shrub with pretty tubular flowers that are clustered on mass on top of a tall flower spike. The plant can reach 3m tall and flowers in autumn. They naturally occur in moist sub-tropical and temperate forests in South Africa, where they receive summer rainfall.
