Trisetum Overview

There are thought to be around 75 species in this genus of plants in the grass family. They are found in alpine and subarctic regions of Europe, Asia and as far south as some temperate regions of North Africa. Members of the genus are commonly known as oatgrasses and have been introduced into many other parts of the world for grazing.
