Didierea Overview

Didierea is a small genus containing only 2 species of succulent perennial in the Didiereaceae family. They are endemic to Madagascar and reside naturally in a spiny forest thicket environment. This ecosystem is unique to Madagascar and characterised by poor quality soil and erratic, low winter rainfall.
