Collect fruit before the 1st frosts. They should ripen with a few weeks if placed in a bowl with other fruit. They can be stored in pierced plastic bags in the fridge for 3 months

Hardy Kiwi Overview
Actinidia arguta is vigorous deciduous twining climber from the Actinidiaceae family. Commonly known by the name Hardy Kiwi, this name refers to this plants frost tolerance. It is dioecious and thus produces male and female flowers on individual plants. They are small and non-showy, coloured white, to produce the small, smooth edible kiwi fruits, two plants are required. The cultivar Actinidia arguta 'Issai' is self-fertilising and thus doesn't require a companion to produce fruits. Prefers a fertile well-drained site in slightly acidic soil in a full sun location facing south or west. Fruit production is best in areas with a long growing season.
