Titanotrichum Overview

Titanotrichum is a monotypic genus in the Gesneriaceae family of flowering plants. It thus has only one species, Titanotrichum oldhamii, originating from Taiwan, parts of mainland China and some southern Japanese islands. It is a subtropical, bulbous evergreen perennial plant with attractive foxglove-like flowers in yellow and red. foliage is green-purple and fleshy. They prefer moist conditions in a cool shady position.
