Tillandsia

Tillandsia intermedia

Air plant (Eng.)

1/2

Tillandsia intermedia is one of the most interesting Tillandsia species as it hangs upside down and produces both basal offsets and offsets from the inflorescence itself. This means that over time it will form an ever larger and thicker clump. Plus, it has an incredibly modern and attractive shape. The leaves can re-curve into pretty circles that give this species a whimsical appearance. Flowers are tubular and brightly coloured vivid purple to pink.
