Overview

A green leafy plant often used in salads and soups. The taste a bit stronger than celery and parsley. The fragrance, when leaves are crushed, make this a wonderful addition to meals and the pretty leaves make an interesting addition to the kitchen or vegetable garden. It is one of the plants considered to grow in old medicinal gardens - hence the '' officinale" reference in the botanical name!
