    Overview

Aeonium is a genus containing around 43 perennial succulents, popular with gardeners due to their distinctive look. They bear regular rosettes of fleshy leaves at the ends of basal shoots, and are commonly known as Tree Houseleeks. Cultivation has resulted in a range of hybrids: colours range from light green and yellow to brown, purple, red and pink. Generally frost tender, but will survive short periods of freezing if kept dry.
