This evergreen climber from Peru and Brazil scrambles up supports with it tender tendrils and in summer produces showy bowl shaped fragrant flowers that are bowl shaped.
Fruit can be harvested as soon as ripe.
Sow seed in Spring maintaining the soil temperature between 13 to 18C
Take semi hardwood cuttings in summer.
Layer stems in Spring or Autumn.
Thses stunning flwers have red petals that open to show a purple and white corona.
Can be grown indoors in containers in cooler climates.
