Madagascar Palm Overview

Pachypodium lamerei is a succulent species in the Apocynaceae family. It is a large shrub or small tree, dependent on the size it gorws to, originating from Madagascar, this species is commonly called Madagascar Palm. It produces thick, thorny stems and narrow leaves are concentrated at the top. Flowers are delicate and white, with yellow shading on the throat, they measure around 10cm in diameter and appear in the summer.
