Pagoda Bush Overview
Enkianthus is a genus with around 14 hardy, deciduous or semi-evergreen shrubs and trees. They are favoured for their nice autumn colour and pretty, bell-shaped blooms, which are normally white, yellow, pink, red or bicoloured variations on these colours. They have evolved from wood and scrub environments from the Himalaya region to Japan and some species are widely cultivated as ornamental specimens for parks and garden growing.
