Rothmannia Overview
There are about 30 species of evergreen shrubs or small trees. The leaves are lanceolate or oval, with opposite leaves which are glossy green. The flowers are bell-shaped with a strong fragrance which bloom from mid spring to mid summer, and are followed by fleshy rounded fruits. They are frost tender, min 16C and will need full light or partial shade and humus-rich, well drained, neutral to acidic soil.
