Marsh buckler fern Overview

Thelypteris is a huge genus containing around 1070 hardy, deciduous ferns from the Thelypteridaceae family. They are found almost worldwide. Foliage is characteristically strongly pinnately divided. It includes mainly tropical and terrestrial species, with some temperate species and some lithophytes that grow on rocks.
