Tree of kings Overview

An upright clump-forming evergreen shrub native to Asia and Australia. Has a strong, branched trunk reaching a height of 4m in the wild as a shrub. As a houseplant or in gardens it reaches 1.5m. The strap-shaped leaves are up to 75 cm long and 15 cm wide and are clustered at the top of the stem. Bears panicles of small, scented, white purple flowers in summer, which are followed by many red berries.
