Siberian Bugloss Overview
Brunnera is a small genus of just 3 perennial species, originating from woodland areas in Northern Europe and Northwest Asia. They have attractive, hairy, heart-shaped foliage and delicate blue or white spring-blooming flowers. Widely developed as a garden plant, they are generally quite tolerant of shade and make good ground cover plants, but some cultivars grow better in full sunlight. Many cultivars have attractive variations in their leaves, some with variegated, yellow, white or silver foliage.
