Dionysia Overview

Genus with around 50 hardy, evergreen perennials with a cushion-forming growth pattern. They are typically found in dry, shady cliff locations in Central Asia. Foliage is spoon-shaped and covered in a powdery white-yellow substance called farina on the underside. Mainly grown for their cheerful pink, purple or yellow flowers, these have 5 petals which are shaded darker in the centre.
