Cymbopogon Overview

Genus of around 50 species commonly referred to as lemongrass. They originate from tropical areas in Asia, Africa and Australia and are commonly grown for cooking, medicinal purposes and also makes a good garden plant for its repellent properties. Well placed near vegetables such as tomatoes to repel insects such as whiteflies, allowing cultivation of produce without the requirement for pesticides.
