Snow Belle radishes are fast growing with crisp white flesh and a mild flavour. Radishes are low maintenance, require few nutrients and are a great addition to any salad garden. This variety can be grown indoors, provided the plant receives enough sunlight.
Common problems with Radish 'Snow Belle'
This variety is generally disease free but can be bothered by flea beetles that cause pinholes in the leaves which can reduce the growth rate and quality of radishes. Radishes can also be bothered by root maggots. Both pest's populations can be reduced by using a row cover.

How to harvest Radish 'Snow Belle'
Pick radishes any time after the tuber has developed but they will be larger if left in the ground for 23 days. The tuber should be visible through the soil if the seeds were planted with a 6mm soil covering or you brush some of the soil from the radish top to check the tuber.
How to propagate Radish 'Snow Belle'
Sow directly in early spring and into summer, 10-15 mm deep and 12-15 cm apart. Germination takes 4-10 days.
