Dwarf elder Overview

This species is a herbaceous perennial which grows about 1.5m high with strong creeping underground stems. There are about 9-13 leaflets which are toothed and slightly hairy. The flowers are produced with flat heads about 10cm across, which are white-tinged, pink flowers which bloom in mid summer, followed by black fruit.
