Polyscias fruticosa is an evergreen shrub or small tree also known as ming tree or ming aralia. This species is found in the Araliaceae family and it is native to India. A fairly slow-growing species, this plant can grow to between 1-2m tall. Foliage is glossy and divided pinnately, the leaves are lance to oval in shape and measure roughly 10cm long. Grown mainly for its foliage over the flowers, this species produces non-showy, unimpressive blooms coloured green-yellow.
