Shrubby rest harrow Overview

Ononis fruticosa is a shrubby perennial from the Fabaceae family. Commonly known by the names Shrubby Restharrow or Restharrow. Shrubby Restharrow produces pretty pea-like, pink flowers in the summer, typically growing to around 60cm tall. It spreads through underground rhizomes. Ononis fruticosa produces slightly hairy foliage and toothed, dark green leaves Many species in this genus are also known by the common name Restharrows, some are considered weeds. They are found growing naturally across Europe.
