Glechoma Overview

A genus of 8 species of perennial herbs in the Lamiaceae family native to Europe and Asia with a centre of diversity in China. They are prostrate plants, spreading using stolons and are characterised by their rounded crenelate leaves on long petioles and small usually violet tubular flowers. They are commonly cultivated as ground cover plants.
