Trumpetbush Overview
Tecoma is a genus consisting of around 10 mostly evergreen trees and shrubs which produce pretty trumpet-shaped flowers and are also termed trumpetbush. Blooms are 5-lobed and usually coloured red, orange or yellow or a combination of these colours. Originating from Africa and the Southern USA, this genus is grown as specimen plants and climbing species may be trained along structures such as archways or walls.
