Trochodendron Overview
A single living species now constitutes this genus that also included at least 6 others, now extinct and only known from fossil records. The remaining species, Trochodendron aralioides, is a small evergreen tree that is cultivated for its unusual spirally-arranged leaves and striking green flowers. It is tolerant of most conditions except for very dry, chalky soils.
