Chrysocoma Overview

Genus with approximately 24 subshrub species with small, tough leaves reduced to small scale structures, similar to those of heather. These are alternately arranged and usually smooth edged, however sometimes they may have symmetrical teeth along the leaf edges. Flowers are spherical and coloured yellow, strongly resembling those of dandelions in the genus Taraxacum. These are produced densely and species in this genus have a clump-forming growth habit.
