Wood Iris Overview

An irid with attractive leaves that is a rewarding garden plant. It has fans of long, narrow and very erect, bluish-green leaves and occasional flowers in spring and throughout summer. Each flower lasts for one day, but it is followed by other buds opening up. This is a common feature plant. ZA Distribution: Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga.
