Scopolia Overview
A small genus comprised of 5 species of creeping perennial plants in the nightshade family native to Europe and Asia. Cultivated species include S. carniolica which is used in the manufacture of some anti-nausea medications. In gadens they are grown for their foliage and bell-shaped flowers. They do best in a humus-rich soil in a shady spot.
