Nonea Overview

Nonea is a genus containing around 20 plants in the Boraginaceae family, and includes short to medium perennials that grow as wildflowers across Britain and Northern Europe. At first, these appear as green cushions, which grow bigger throughout autumn. In late winter, the swelling of buds heralds a long display of primrose-like, yellow blossoms, often before many other species are in flower.
