Cushion phlox Overview
This is a small, cushion-forming species. The leaves are tiny and will form a dense mat. The flowers are white to pale blue they are about 12mm wide.

Propagate rock and hybrids by basal cuttings from non-flowering shoots in spring or summer. Root cuttings in winter.
Species can be increased by seed in autumn or spring. Annuals can be propagated by seed in spring.
P.maculata, P.paniculata and their cultivators should be propagated by division in early spring.
