Stock Overview
A genus of around 50 species of annuals, perennials and subshrubs in the Brassicaceae family with simple or lobed leaves and dense heads of scented flowers. They are popular in cultivation as garden plants for their heady aroma - in some varieties this is stronger in the evening and at night - and they are commonly known as stock. They prefer a sunny, sheltered position in well-drained soil.
