Snow poppy Overview

Genus with a single hardy, rhizomatous, perennial species, Eomecon chionantha. It grows in China along riverbanks and is also known by the names dawn-poppy and snow-poppy. Flowers resemble poppies, with white petals and yellow centres made of many anthers and foliage is semi-fleshy.
