Chinese Holly Overview
This species is grown for its rounded, compact and bushy growth habit and deep green foliage. It will produce a crop of brilliant red berries. Grow in a rich acidic and well drained soil. The leaves are normally spiny and dark green. This tree will tolerate sun or shaded, but will perform better in the sun. Give it ample water and it's better to provide a mulch. They can be attacked by two kinds of leaf miners which can cause blotches on the leaves. The leaves are normally spiny and dark green.
