Bladder Campion Overview
Silene vulgaris is a semi-evergreen perennial that produces interesting white flowers from a swollen, bladder-like white-pink bud-like structure with attractive pink venation. This plant typically grows to around 60cm in height, producing sprays of white blooms measuring around 2.5cm across. Flowers appear in summer and this species has an upright, bushy habit. Grows well in full sun or partially shaded conditions, doing best in a well-draining soil.
