Overview

Dracaena cylindrica is an evergreen, rhizomatous succulent species with tall, cylindrical, smooth, green-grey striped leaves arising from a central stem in a fan-shaped arrangement. It was previously well known as Sansevieria cylindrica and is often still sold as such. Capable of reaching a height of 1.2m, this species has a clumping growth habit and produces fleshy, tubular foliage measuring around 3cm wide. Attractive, scented, pink or white-green flowers are produced in spring or summer, on erect flowering spikes.
