So beautiful 😍
Have not been for a while and forget how special this place is.
Best to go in a group after 5pm.
Weekends are quite busy in general.
Lovely to have a picnic and spend time with Family.

This place is awesome. What a jewel!
I was disgusted with evidence of someone that gone through garbage. Plastic scattered around. Though this was in one small area only. For the rest, well done!

Majik Forrest = Magic Forrest.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful here.
Well kept green belt perfect for a casual walk to get away from the madness of the world.

This took me completely by surprise. I've lived in Cape Town all my life and had never heard about it. Obviously it is a well-kept secret amongst Cape Town's Northern Suburbs crowd as it was quite busy on the Sunday that we were there.
It is an extensive, impeccably maintained park with a large variety of well-labelled plants and tree species. There is a bubbling brook running through a valley down the centre of the park, fed by two small dams at the top. Several walking paths run up the steep sides of the park - just be careful or the mountain bikers with whom the walkers share the paths.
An area of the park has been equipped with children's play equipment, all very well laid out, and there is a large picnic area. I did not see any evidence of rowdy or drunken behaviour, no littering (there are bins, unlike Kirstenbosch) and they weren't overflowing so I assume that they are serviced regularly.
Apparently visitors are permitted to fish in the river and plenty of dogs were in evidence. See once the park is on an elevated slope in a clear-air zone I found it quite invigorating.
