Stone Lane Gardens is a spectacular woodland and water garden on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, that enchants and inspires in every season, famous for National Collections of Birch and Alder trees. It has a specialist tree nursery and is an RHS Partner Garden and registered charity, no.1411252. It is open to visitors on every day of the year, including Christmas Day.
10 am till 6 pm every day all year round, or till dusk in winter.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE GARDENSThe Merry Wives of Windsor' is this year's Shakespeare production from the Three Inch Fools theatre company. Staged outdoors (in the hay barn if very wet!), our actors give it their all in the gardens, changing costumes, masks and roles on a jolly romp through 16th century England. - "Why, then the world's mine oyster, which I with sword will open". Bring a picnic and a chair! (Gates open 5 pm).

"THE MYTHIC GARDEN" annual sculpture exhibitionEvery summer, Stone Lane Gardens hosts an exhibition of local sculptors' work in the wonderful edge of Dartmoor setting of the arboretum and water gardens. This will be our 28th successful year of showing artists' work. If you wish to buy art for your garden, sculptures are at prices to suit all pockets.
