Lullingstone Castle

Dartford

Lullingstone Castle is set within 120 acres of Kent countryside, and is one of England's oldest family estates, dating back to the time of Domesday. Tom Hart Dyke is heir to the Estate and is the 20th generation of the Hart Dykes to live at the Castle. Lullingstone Castle also contains a world garden of plants.

Opening times

Lullingstone is open on Fridays (except Good Friday), Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays between 31st March 2018 until 28th October 2018 World Garden Open: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays plus Bank Holiday Mondays: 12 noon - 5pm (for selected Special Events we open at 11am). Last entry to the Garden is at 4:30pm House Open: Only at 2pm. For a guided tour (45 minutes) every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (except bank holiday weekends and events - see below). No prior booking required. However, to take the guided tour (at no extra cost) please collect a sticker on arrival, bearing in mind we do have a cap of 70 visitors on our tour due to guiding procedures - Thank you for your understanding The House is open on Bank Holiday Weekends and Events for free flow entry at 11am. Visitors at their leisure are able to view until last entry to the house at 4:30pm Private Tours: The House and Garden also open for pre-booked guided groups (min 20 people) on Wednesdays & Thursdays by arrangement (see under Group Visits)
